Current hackney taxi tariff

• Tariff 1 up to 4 passengers: £3.70 first 785 yd or 119 seconds; then 10 p each 82 yd or 14 seconds
• Tariff 2 up to 4 passengers nights/weekends/specified holidays, or 5+ passengers when no higher tariff applies: £4.00 first 560 yd or 119 seconds; then 10 p each 65 yd or 14 seconds
• Tariff 3 Boxing Day/2 January daytime and specified 5+ passenger periods: £4.70 first 444 yd or 119 seconds; then 10 p each 54 yd or 14 seconds
• Tariff 4 up to 4 passengers during specified Christmas/New Year periods: £4.70 first 444 yd or 119 seconds; then 10 p each 41 yd or 14 seconds
• Tariff 5 5+ passengers during specified Christmas/New Year periods: £4.70 first 444 yd or 119 seconds; then 10 p each 32 yd or 14 seconds
• Extras: advance booking £1; bridge/ferry and receipted airport parking at cost; soiling maximum £150; bulky luggage maximum £10 by prior notice
• Supplementary outward booking and mobility equipment: A supplementary charge may cover the actual outward journey cost between the taxi starting location and pick-up/drop-off point, only when disclosed at booking. The bulky-luggage charge does not apply to wheelchairs or other mobility equipment.
