Terms of use
Last updated: 24 August 2026
By using TECSI, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
TECSI provides a marketplace and general trade information for the taxi and private hire sector. TECSI is not normally a party to arrangements between advertisers and users and does not guarantee a vehicle, advert, seller, buyer, hirer or provider.
Accounts and adverts
- Information you provide must be accurate and you must keep your account secure.
- You must have authority to advertise the vehicle, service, shift, business or other item offered.
- Adverts must not be unlawful, misleading, discriminatory, fraudulent or infringe another person’s rights.
- TECSI may review, refuse, amend the presentation of, suspend or remove content where reasonably necessary.
Checks and transactions
Users must carry out their own checks before paying money, signing an agreement or relying on an advert. Check identity, ownership, licensing, insurance, vehicle condition, pricing and contract terms independently. Never send money merely because an advert appears on TECSI.
Credit hire and knowledge content
Content is general information, not legal, financial, insurance or professional advice. Credit hire agreements may create significant liabilities. Read all terms carefully and obtain independent advice where appropriate.
Liability
Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, TECSI is not responsible for indirect loss, lost profits, user content, third-party conduct or transactions arranged through the service. The service may change or be unavailable from time to time.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as TECSI develops. Material changes will be reflected by the date above. Questions can be sent to admin@tecsi.co.uk.
