Taxi fare estimate

Early release: limited reviewed coverage. Compare the supported council tariffs on the same road route. This is not yet UK-wide tariff coverage. Address data may be incomplete; estimates do not include live traffic.

Checking address service readiness…

1. Plan your journey

Choose your pickup and destination, then compare a council tariff. Base fare for one passenger.

No route, map or local council is inferred from manual mileage. Use the driving distance, not a straight line.

Match the clock setting to your departure date, including changes in March and October.
Explicit additional waiting only. Do not enter the whole journey time.

What this includes

Checked starting charges and distance increments for one passenger. Departure selects the applicable supported 2026 band. Separately entered waiting is used only where its charging steps are verified. Unsupported combinations are excluded, with a reason; journey duration is never added as waiting.

Extras, extra passengers, tolls and airport charges are excluded. This is an estimate, not a quote or a certified taximeter. Applying another council’s rates is a comparison and does not establish which tariff legally applies. The pickup area is resolved from its coordinates, never the destination; unmapped licensing areas are reported unavailable.

Sources checked 12–13 September 2026. Every result links its council or regulator source and labels the effective date or verification window. A verification window is not an asserted legal commencement date. Support expires separately for each tariff, sometimes earlier where a review or change is pending; check the result's source notes. No estimates extend beyond 2026. Some dates, distance ranges and charging rules are explicitly unsupported.
