Aberdeen City taxi fares and licensing

Current operative taxi fares remain withheld. The dated April 2025 council card is now recovered; the later October 2026 review outcome still needs reconciliation. Licence-fee snapshot retained separately.

Licensing authority: Aberdeen City Council

Current hackney taxi tariff

  • Current operative fares withheld: The previously displayed January 2025 proposal remains withdrawn. Recovering a dated council card does not establish which tariff applies after the proposed October 2026 replacement. No current fare calculator is enabled.
  • Dated council card recovered: The September 2026 review identifies Appendix 1 as its then-current card, printed effective 3 April 2025. This original document is now accessible through its public council attachment link; its continued operative status after October is not confirmed.
  • October 2026 review still unresolved: The officer report and undated Appendix 2 proposed 2%. Councillors instead approved 5% for publication, subject to representations. The 28 October decision sheet approves the September minute but supplies no separate fare-review determination. Actual final notification, implementation and appeal outcomes remain unverified.
