- Operator licensing
- Official evidence found; detail still to confirm
The current-linked January 2022 handbook normally provides five-year operator licences, an approved Worthing base, separate planning compliance and variation before exceeding the licensed fleet limit. Renew before expiry; Appendix K requires seven days' advance notice of an operating-address move and fourteen days before changing trading name. Its staff conditions additionally require a booking/dispatch register supplied monthly to the council, staff DBS checks every twelve months and an ex-offender employment policy. Do not dispatch drivers or vehicles with expired licensing/compliance documents; obtain the booker's informed consent before substituting a PSV/PCV service with different checks. The separate currently hosted application form includes checks for the staff register, evidence of staff DBS sighting and the ex-offender policy. The handbook's unusually worded standard-DBS/operator checks and inconsistent address-notification provisions remain unresolved; staff annual checks must not be conflated with the separate operator disclosure cadence.
