Taxi tariff
Official evidence found; detail still to confirm

Newcastle-under-Lyme's April 2024 official report specifically compares Stoke-on-Trent's tariff, stating Stoke last changed fares in March 2022. It records tariff 1 at £4.10 for one mile and £5.90 for two miles; tariff 2 at £5.30 and £7.70 respectively. PHTM's April 2026 comparison still reports the £5.90 tariff-one two-mile benchmark. These are attributed comparison figures, not a full current Stoke fare card. Exact flag allowance, distance/time pulses, tariff hours, waiting and extras remain unverified. Do not substitute Newcastle's proposed or adopted rates, or infer a linear rate from these examples.
