Tariff content checked 23 October 2026. The current council card starts at £3.50 for daytime 07:00–19:00, £3.70 for ordinary nights 19:00–07:00, and £4.70 for Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights 19:00–07:00. Each covers the first 100 yards, then 20p per 176 yards up to ten miles and 20p per 159 yards thereafter. Waiting is 20p per 45 seconds while stopped or travelling below 8 mph. Christmas/New Year is a separate £2.50 extra in the printed windows; other bank holidays add £1.20, and carrying five to eight passengers adds £2. The 11 September 2026 decision retained this structure after objections; the proposed fuel surcharge and removal of the £2 extra were not implemented. A further review is planned for November. The exact original commencement day is unprinted; no calculator model is enabled.
