Taxi tariff
Official evidence found; detail still to confirm

The council’s current passenger page publishes eight hackney-carriage fare bands. The daytime band begins at £3.60 for the first 140 yards, adds 20p per 140 yards until the meter reaches £6.00, then 20p per 153 yards. One higher-band label is malformed in the published HTML, so the complete calendar schedule and card-processing wording should be checked directly on the council page.

Mandatory qualifications

Advanced driving, English, local knowledge, professional standards, safeguarding and equality tests are required.

Withheld or still needing confirmation
  • No current official numeric hackney-carriage tariff and effective date were verified.
  • A dedicated vehicle application URL was not independently opened beyond the current licensing hub.
  • The current Leeds HTML has a malformed higher-band label; the full schedule is retained as partial rather than silently corrected.
