Operator licensing
Official evidence found; detail still to confirm

Current council-hosted Version 4 policy records Cabinet approval on 13 January 2022 and commencement on 31 January 2022. Section 10 normally grants five years but permits requested whole-year terms from one to five. New and renewal applications require basic DBS dated within 28 days, except current council-licensed drivers; a basic certificate becomes immediately necessary when that driver licence ends. Each company director/partner is assessed. Renewal includes the last three months' booking records. Maintain booking/dispatch staff registers, sight basic DBS less than 28 days old for each staff member, maintain an ex-offender employment policy and require staff conviction notifications. Separately, current-linked May 2015 operator conditions require booking records for one calendar year, prior approval to change the operating base, written address-change notification within seven days and complaint notification within 24 hours. The 2015 conditions' seven-day conviction wording and the 2022 policy's 48-hour serious-offence notification wording are not reconciled, so this remains partial rather than a fully consolidated conditions claim.

  • Detailed vehicle limits, operator, fees and numeric tariff not extracted; current fare PDF forwarded for calculator review.
