Tariff content checked 23 October 2026. The current council page publishes £2.90 for the first 152 yards by weekday day, then 20p per 152 yards; other bands use 115-yard steps, starting at £2.90 for evenings/weekends, £3.90 overnight and £5.90 at Christmas/New Year. Waiting is 20p per 30 seconds. These differ from the previously published scale, which has been withdrawn from the calculator. The September statutory notice gives 9 October 2026 only if no objections arrive; the final outcome and legal commencement have not been independently confirmed. The current page also prints conflicting 10am/10pm wording for New Year’s Eve. No replacement model is enabled while these gaps remain. No extra charge applies to assistance dogs or wheelchairs, and the meter must not start until disabled/wheelchair passengers are safely loaded.
