UK / trade news

According to TaxiPoint, Canterbury is seeking comments on its draft taxi and private hire policy. Its official consultation lists disability-awareness training for existing and new licence holders among the proposed updates. Responses close at 9am on 11 January 2027. The council says no decision has been made and feedback will be considered before adoption, so these proposals are not current new licensing duties.
