According to taxi-point.co.uk, Walsall and Wolverhampton Council officers inspected 30 licensed vehicles on 25 September 2026. No vehicles were suspended after minor defects were fixed that night. Police removed window tint from one vehicle and reminded a driver to wear prescribed glasses. Compliance improved compared to March 2025 when 50% of inspected vehicles were suspended.
